DRIVER AND VEHICLE LICENSING AUTHORITY (DVLA)RATES/FEES AND CHARGES

The Ministry of Finance in July, 2013 presented to Parliament fresh proposals submitted by some twenty-nine (29) Ministries, Departments and Agencies for an upward review of their fees and charges across board for the public services they render.

After approval by parliament, Road Worthiness and Road User fees, Licensing duties, Vehicle Registration and all manner of fees are to go up at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA). But road tolls will remain unchanged.

As at 2011, Vehicle owners were paying GH¢2 for road worthiness certificates, GH¢10 for a change of ownership and GH¢300 to convert a vehicle to left hand drive.

Visit the DVLA offices for rates.
