Though bets are private and ok, the sports institutions must rethink using bets as mobilizer to help coaches. Because betting itself is wrong in sports. What we need is for the FA to create proper business opportunity and environment within the football arena around tickets sales, mechanize sale during games at stadiums, car park offers to charge for parking and guarding of cars for private companies, corporate discounts on tickets sales to encourage attendance, better maintenance of staidums using maintenance contracts for private hands (sometimes the grass speaks volumes at international games on TV), and entertaining during half time at stadiums to draw crowds. Radio sponsorships with some tickets to enable DJ to give away tickets weekly for awareness of games to help bring in attendees etc.
Nyantakyie and his hangers on are a disappointment. I am not for removing the man I just want him to do something better because the status quo. Infact removing him does not guarantee another better choice since he had already gathered immense experience there. Just do the work to create an business environment and opportunity within our local football for private sector not only public administration.
The last thing to be mobilizing our sports and coaches are betting rings.
