Edward Jones wins Ghana’s first ever Judo medal

Boxer Edward Jones last week delivered Ghana’s first ever judo medal at the just ended Kodokan Asian Judo Grand Masters Championship, which was held in Tokyo, Japan.
Jones who is domiciled in Japan defied all the odds to put up a sterling performance to romp home with the bronze medal in the 100kg weight division.
Judo is not one of the popular sporting disciplines in Ghana.
