Handball and Volleyball pitches for Cape Coast University Games
Cape Coast, Dec. 12, GNA - University of Cape Coast (UCC) is to host the handball and volleyball championship of the West Africa University Games (WAUG), from December 13 to December 23, 2009.
The University on Friday therefore commissioned two volleyball pitches and two handball courts in preparation towards the Games. Professor Sam Yehoah Mensah, Dean of Physical Sciences of UCC, who commissioned the facilities constructed by the Local Organising Committee (LOC), commended the contractors for the good work done and hoped the visitors will have conducive facilities for their sporting events.
