Ghana Weightlifting Federation revises its constitution

Weightlifter Alberta Ampomah The Ghana Weightlifting Federation (GWF) as part of its growth, expansion and good governance practices, has revised its current constitution to reflect modern trends in the sport. The revised constitution will now place ownership and power in the hands of the various clubs, Regional Associations and other stakeholders. A statement from the GWF said the previous constitution gave lots of power and authority to the board and the few national team weightlifters.
