Article 39. Section 8......thanks for the info Dr Truth. GFA just want to award boardroom points to hearts to keep them in the league and prevent them from relegation. But their performance and body of work does not warrant such favorites. This will only destruction ghana soccer. As the weaker and less deserving teams will be favored over the stronger ones. It won't help Ghana soccer.

Hearts the heart breakers, if you do not take advantage of this and you relegate yourselves, you will all see pepper. Gather courage and make the supporters happy for once in your last two matches.

At first, I was happy about the ruling, but after researching more about the Elite Cup, it appears Kotoko have a strong case of overturning the ruling.
For example, on March 11, 2015, FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi announced that "the Elite Cup competition has been introduced as a permanent feature on the football calendar to add to the FA Cup, Premier League, and Division One League".
This statement by itself implies that the Elite Cup Competition is an official competition.
I will caution Hearts to act as if their position on the league table is as it was before the ruling, since the ruling itself could well be overturned by the Appeals Committee.

It's a shame to play soccer without knowing the rules. When the kotoko management decided to include that unqualified player, they weren't sure whether the guy who i presume to be illiterate fool, could be included or not.The next sensible thing kotoko must have done was to have questioned a responsible office as to the eligibility of that idiot.Due to their pomposity, they failed to make enquiry and the golden interpretation of the law has been correctly applied to the facts.

What kind of English are Ghanaians writing these days? Why have our English, both spoken and written, standards fallen so low? Just consider this sentence that allsports.com.gh attributes to Mr. Gerald Ankrah, Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, "We must not be complacency ahead of the final two games because I strongly believe that the latest Disciplinary Committee outcome willn’t affect our preparation for the Sunday’s game,” Gerald Ankrah told Allsports.com.gh."
I seriously doubt that Mr. Ankrah said, "We must not be complacency" and that "the latest Disciplinary Committee outcome willn't affect our preparation". I think what Mr. Ankrah said was, "We must not be complacent" and that "the latest disciplinary committee outcome won't affect our preparation".. No, there's no way Mr. Ankrah could have said that. The problem is the poor standard of English used generally today by Ghanaian journalists and graduates of our tertiary institutions. How ashamed I feel when I read the poor English our journalists write these days!
