If they have a drop of Ghanaian blood they should be considered as Ghanaians and given a chance to compete. In my opinion that is more important than the country of birth or the passport they hold.If they are indiscipline, treat them as Ghanaians and not as disrespectful foreigners. I believe they would bring competition and make the Blackstar better but they should not be allowed to just walk into the national team without justifying their inclusion.I would even prefer the best way of given them a chance in the junior teams and not wait till they are about to play for the senior teams of their country of birth before we start chasing them so as to avoid the situation whereby they would look ungrateful for shunning their country of birth once they have made it to a big team. Believe me, majority of the children born outside to Ghanaian parents are even more patriotic than those born in Ghana.

they justified their inclusion to bstar based on their exploits at the club level. so if they come n they see that gh govt has not invested in modern soccer infrastructure, pitches, well trained coaches and technical men with no attention to detail who things anyhow and are only interested in 10percent etc. and these players get angry bcos they wouldnt ant to play on terrible pitches that may risk injury n they voice their opines to the gfa or coaches. ghppl will say ..oh these players are "too known" and quckily they will label you as disrespectful etc...patriotism wont put food on your table

This is long over due. The GFA is mandated to have taken this steps for ages, but due to corruption, they turned their heads away because those guys are incorruptible. The first example is Marcel Desailly(Odenkey)He wanted to play for Ghana but was ignored. Ghana has a lot of talents within the diaspora, and they need to be tapped to bring glory to the country. I hope they keep to their words.

GO AHEAD COACH APPIAH BECAUSE IT IS A GOOD STRATEGY. THOSE BORN OUTSIDE HAVE AN ADVANTAGE HERE. THEY HAVE CORRECT AGE AND ALSO THEY USUALLY GROW FASTER AND BIGGER STRUCTURE WISE. THEY COME WITH A DIFFERENT MENTALITY, NOT THE CORRUPTED HOME MENTALITY AND NEGATIVE ATTTITUDE TO WORK. ABOVE ALL, THEY ARE ALIEN TO BRIBERY OR FAVORITISM AN ALL FORMS OF BACKDOOR DEALINGS. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT JUJU AND SO DON'T BELIEVE IN IT. BY ALL COMPARISONS, THEY ARE GENUINE AND EASIER TO NURTURE OR HANDLE AND WORK WITH.
