I am not happy with this team BUT, the other teams, including Egypt are not actually that impressive. Ivory Coast and Algeria are the two nations with the most "star power" on their team. Other than that, all the other teams are sort of like Ghana. Many players who are in middle to lower table teams or in weaker leagues. In general, very few African players are leading players on top teams. I see this as a tournament that anyone can win. Ghana's problem is that the team is too Asamoah Gyan dependent. If Gyan makes this a spectacular "farewell tournament" we might surprise. If not we will see an early exit.

The Black Stars current squad is not capable of going beyond the first stage. The team is so weak that they drew goalless with Uganda at home here in Ghana. The NDC government destroyed Ghana including the national team.

I think we can use this opportunity of playing in the AFCON to think of building a team a strong team for Ghana . GFA should make it a huge point of building a team . When we start to build a team now , by three years we can keep the team for the next six years like Germany . France has finished building their national team . Italy is having a strong team and Brazil also . Believe me Ghana is not having a team only we are just calling so called good players and just trying them in positions but afterwards doubting on them whiles they are good but not handlind them properly eg.KPB a fantastic player who insisting on his right was made escape goat . Chosen players for the midfield is somehow good but the forward liners are not good .
