I have a problem here. And that is the accolade: The Asantehene, being the owner of the Asante Kotoko FC.

My life as it has been, has lived for well over half a century plus in the Kingdom, and never could I remember any of the past kings of the confederacy being associated with the AKFC as the owner of that joint more than the present one.
Could that be a new craze of the Kingdom?

I know for sure, Nana of the present, or the past, couldn't have formed the team considering the period when he ascended the throne. In which case, he would've be known as the founder.

I also know for sure, Nana couldn't have bought the team to merit the tag as 'the owner.(with much apologies to Togbe Afedzi, who out of nowhere had become an owner of a popular club via the 'highest bidder' in a capricious fiscal arrangement called 'floating shares'. Can we liken the Kumasi based club to the same? When did AKFC
sold?

Funerals are eligible to Otumfuos patronage. Unless the value of the seat is in demise to even ask. More or less to attend.i wonder what is going on now adays.

First, the title " Otumfuor" indicates one that has absolute control. This extends to total ownership. You erroneously stated that Asantehene is a custodian. By tradition, he is the absolute power; the owner of everything in his domain hence the "Owner" of AKFC.
