I don't agree. Abedi doesn't like the current managers of the game hence this assertion so they don't get the credit. Ben Koufie is a huge figure. Avoid the ridiculous. Like some people say Nkrumah built the Team oil refinery ... read full comment

Pardon! haven't I duplicated that history question? I think so.
Well, lets say am confused. In that, for all I know, it is, or say it was, hmmmm, perhaps, most certainly, it has been solely this Nyanks of an administrator who has single handedly spearheaded the fight for Ghana's WC triumphant entry back to back and back. That is probably why he consider himself the one and only. Did you hear me say the GFA congress also think so? That without MR Nyanks leading, none of them could.
My one man-jury verdict at the Maestro's court is this: Ben Koufie might have been the main architect through which the GBS sprouted onto the World biggest platform.
Thatnotwithstanding, It is, it was, as it has been, this same "Odomfo-Kumfuo" Nyank's untiringly, his personal efforts that have seen the GBS bloomed and sparkled over the last few AFCON/WC years like never been before.i.e, sponsorship, lucrative player transfer, worldly acclaimed recognition, fringe benefits>>> Oh Akwasi ayaade3"
However, Nyanks, in the last few "S3 mennkae s3 obi mmra a, obiara nni hO" years, he has been overly aggressive in the embezzlement sector of the GFA, FIFA and the Government's coffers.
Especially this nauseating case in point: AS the GFA president who led Ghana into BRazil aided by the tax payer's money. He returns home with surplus money in hand. Common sense could dictate that, knowing the deplorable state of the league, why couldn't he shift that money to that sector of his own department but chose to use it lavishly on individual cronies. In his own words, when confronted by the Dzamefe commission, he conceded: "and we shared the money among us" the rest is history for us to always remember.
For this singular act of scrupulous and corruptible nature, like what the Maestro had said or wished to express, for one to reach definite purpose, one must have a personality that meets certain standards.
While Ben Koufie is upright and just with vision in his personal endeavour, KN is not, not not."SIKADIE
BASABASA!
Ben Koufie therefore gets the nod. Nyantakyi can bucket and bath.
Beats Me.
