Yes, we have found out why he was sacked. It's because he did not bow down to worship the Trokosi Chief Afede who now owns Hearts of Oak with his so called Ewe executives.

Oh why my darling club? When will you guys put on your thinking caps? What has Duncan ever achieved in his coaching career? Nothing! The current problems facing Kotoko is not about the coach but about quality and poor preparation towards the league. Why do you change the best coach in the country for a mediocre coach with a big ego.
I bet you guys will regret soon. By the time you realized, then Didi will be unavailable.

This move by Kotoko to sign coach Duncan would be disastrous. Duncan will find it difficult to work with some of the players because of his temperament.
Didi is not a bad coach, except that he over-trained his boys before the commencement of the 2014/15 football season and the boys are really tired.
The second point is that he must change Toure from being the lead striker to a mid-fielder, possibly playing behind the lead striker where he would have to do inter positional play with his colleagues to prevent defenders marking him all the time.
Admittedly, Didi is far better than Duncan as far as the coaching job is concerned. The problem with Didi, however, was that he was looking at the Champions League, and trying to retain the National League simultaneously. This is a herculean task only few coaches can achieve.
Kotoko management must understand that it is impossible for Didi to achieve the duo, and therefore he must be given the task of achieving in the champions League while gaining a respectable position in the local league.
As a matter of fact, some of the players earmarked for the champions League need sufficient rest, and should not be fielded regularly in the National League. It means that Kotoko must have two set of teams, and those who have been warming benches must feature prominently in the local League, whilst the Champion league players train hard with enough rest and prepare for the Champions League.
Changing the coach at this point in time would not serve the interest of Kotoko.

Has anybody cared to find out something interesting in the names of these coaches. The incumbent and about to exit coach is Didi Dramani and the new coach about to sign a contract is David Duncan. What a coincidence! I don't want to think that there is anything spiritual or metaphysical about this, but if it is for a good reason that Kotoko wants to dump their coach who has helped them to win the Premier league for two consecutive times, then all the better. On the other hand if coach David Duncan will also be loyal to help Kotoko retain the premiership and excel in Africa, all the better.
VERY GOOD MOVE! HE WILL SUCCEED.
Just do it like NIKE...
