One thing Ghanaian and GFA leadership lack is common sense whoever came with the idea of keeping Konadu after Ebola Equatorial Guinea tournament has common sense. The timing of the naming Grant was wrong no wonder the Black Star lost Uganda game. Every coach is different between now and Jan what can Grant do how would he be able to access his players. Common Sense would require us to use Konadu and name a new coach if he fail at Afcon 2015.

Let Konadu resume duties as coach, Sellas Tetteh and dramani as deputy coaches for the afcon tournament. Let each coach produce their best 23 players on merit and why they chose them. Please, no bribe or favoritism. Ghana will be the only nation at afcon without an active league. Ghana won all 4 precious afcon trophies with local players. Keshi won afcon with mostly unheralded local players. Same with 3peat egypt! Libya won chan with local players. Ghana has proven time again that we can't win afcon trophy with foreign based players. So if we have no local league or players. Who will play at afcon? Foreign based players again? Muahahahaaaaaaaaa! Let Grant serve as TD for the team. This is the best option to ensuring Ghana's chances of winning the trophy and making the right selections/squad for the tournament. No coach can win a major tournament with barely 2months to go. Grant does not know anything about Ghana soccer...........the same a way a whiteman needs a Ghanaian counterpart when he/she comes to Ghana to do business.

Togo is a JV team. Beating them amounts to nothing. I remember AA's Black Stars beating Malawi (or Botswana, or some minnow soccer nation) 7-0? and also beat Egypt 7-1, all at home). But still, Ghana couldn't win AFCON, simply because Ghana has the same old problems--indiscipline players and corrupt and bankrupt coaching personnel.

Best solution: 1. Clear the whole field, including Konadu. 2. Don't worry about not winning AFCON 2015 ( We are not going to win anyway, if we have the same mentality, no matter who the coach is.) 3. Take the politics out--Ii order words, GFA should completely stay out of the technical aspects of the game, including player selection.

This is the only way Ghana can reclaim their past glory and some more.

I agree that we must invest in our own by sending four young coaches to receive top level coaches training just us Nkrumah did with CK Gyamfi and Goldfields did with Jones Attuquafio. For now we should give the team to Grant.

Koan du had done well and should be made the substantive coach of the Black Stars. GFA was ungrateful to Kwasi APpiah after qualifying Ghana to the world cup, he was given a raw deal, now they want to bring someone to take over for something she did not sow. Grant was sacked from Chelsea because of poor performance, why should Ghana go for him?
