There are many fields where Ghana lacks the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.

He should have been given the job the first time and not the clueless Appiah. If the ignorant sports journalist could call Appiah a Doctor then Silas Tetteh should be a professor.

the difficulty with ghana football is that the coaches who are at the helm of ghana football giving advice have not managed a senior team either club or country to achieve laurels. coaches oti akenteng, sam adday, afranie, silas teeteh all achieve their names coaching over aged players paraded at under age competitions. coaches who made name with senior teams such as sir cecil, ibrahim sunday, herbert addo, osam duodu are often overlooked. then when it comes to ex footballers turned coaches it is those with very low playing pedigree who are calling the shots. maxwell konadu, saban quaye, nasamu yakubu were no where near the blackstars during their playing days. kuku dadzie, isaac paha, joe carr, simon addo, willie klutse, joe addo,etc are the ones being overlooked by kwesi nyantakyi and at best rather are assigned to women's teams.
