You can't run a sports franchise in this day and age without money. The gfa executive should be made up of the owners of the 18 premier league clubs. If you want experienced, college educated administrators to come in and help your club get modernized. Give them a job! There is no excuse to king fsisal to not make money. Go to south Africa, epl and look at what clubs do. Use the internet

Ghfuo, you talk by heart. Are you illiterate or what? No wonder you spell the word "Article" like you are German. Where did the author say money is not needed? All he is saying is that a little education is needed together with money. Imagine Odartey Lamptey as the GFA boss. Why should football be only about money?

it takes two to tango and it can only be better if our club chairmen and owners have education in administration and money to keep the club going.let me give you a typical example;do you know that when a player is been put on transfer,it means the the club is not interested in the players anymore for the remaining of his contract.but if the club sacks the player, its supposed to pay the remaining salary in bulk to the player and the player leaves? now in Europe, when a player is put on transfer, even though the club doesn't need him,he still trains with the club for the rest of contract until he finds another club.but in Ghana, they put you on transfer means, pack your things and leave the club.this means that they have breached your contract and is supposed to pay your remaining year's salary in bulk.but amazingly the players in Ghana knowing nothing about this happily wait for 3 months for them to be eligible for their floating card.who will fight for these ignorant and illiterate footbllers? God help us.

We need a progressive policy. All adverts in Ghana must be created by wholly owned Ghanaian businesses and the songs and celebrities in the adverts must be wholly Ghanaian. The celebrities and musicians must receive royalties. All the wholly owned Ghanaian entities must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB.
We must move into the era of music/movies as a service (MAAS). At least 7 out of every 10 songs, movies and TV series played on our television stations, radio stations and entertainment centres must be wholly Ghanaian and must be produced in Ghana. These stations and entertainment centres must pay on a monthly or annual basis royalties to the Ghanaian artists. The amounts paid must be reasonable taking into consideration the profits of the entertainment establishments. However they must not pay any money whatsoever to the foreign artists because of the negative effect it would have on our GDP. The Ghanaian artists must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB. Many people can recall great shows like: Kukurantumi-road to Accra, Ultimate paradise, By the fireside, I told you so, things we do for love, Akan drama with osofo dadzie, obra and co, home sweet home, TV theatre, Dr Paa Bobo´s songs etc
There is lack of will and this must change.

My hat off to you my brother. Your observation is 100% right. It is not only the owners who should be educated but the players too. There are few players on the black stars squad who can speak the English language with confidence like Sulley Monthari. This is one fault i had with former black stars coach Appiah. I heard he holds a PhD but he spoke underneath his title from my point of view or observation.
We can't blame the people both owners and players but the system. Intelligence is not part of the criteria in school athletics. There should be a program in place that makes sure students take serious note in the class-room as well as in the field of play. I will suggest that children who don't do well in the class-room can not participate in school athletics. This means no pass no play.
Ghana international player should be able to speak English well and little French too.
