Jonathan Mensah predicts World Cup upset

Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has served notice to those who are already ruling the Black Stars out at the World Cup to come again.

The Evian TG guardsman said the team is equipped with experienced players who are capable of causing an upset as well as poised to better their quarter-finals feat at the Mundial.

“We have the players with skills, we have players with power and all qualities required to compete in Brazil,” Myjoyonline quoted Mensah.

“I think what’s left for us is just to concentrate on what we really have, then if we stick together, what we can really achieve will surprise people.”

Ghana have tough group games with the US, Portugal and Germany in Group G and will open their campaign with the Stars and Stripes.
