Now Dauda who has not even play 5% of his club matches is not only going to make Ghana team but has been handed the number one spot. Adam Kwarasey is being disrespected by Ghana. This guy could have been the number one goalkeeper for Norway and look at how we are treating him.

In Dauda's case, I can understand your frustrations but let's mellow "kakraa" for now. The question we need to ask ourselves is besides Dauda, do we have a replacement? On paper, the answer is yes because Kwarasey, Adjei, Braimah, Adams are all active but practically do we have a replacement? Here the answer can't be yes because once upon a time we had Kwarasey as our number one and he was toppled by Dauda because of some weaknesses he had. Now what to do is to wait and see how these goalkeepers will fare in Ghana post. Until we see any keeper better to take over, Dauda remains the number one choice and Appiah is right.

I watched you during your Kotoko playing days u were one of the intelligent defenders I have seen. Your performance in 1983 champions league against El-Ahly was superb, but I must admit the reason Kotoko won the cup was excellent goal keeping by Joseph Carr. Car won the African cup period. Carr and Nkono were the best on Africa in the 80's. Dauda is a liability in goal for Black stars. I don't see how he can withstand the pressure that comes with World Cup. The soccer balls used in World Cup are extremely fast which has been a nightmare for work class goalkeepers such as Gianlucca Buffon
Of Italy. As a Ghananian our chance to advance will be very slim with Dauda in Goal.

In even in great nation football like Spain , France ,England even Germany and among others which have a superstar number goalier never said who is good or not good before a tournament. But today the GFA has imposed an unauthoriot so called coach on us who is really stubborn and say things that isn't supposed to say as coach but still say it. Pls my fellow conocer do you remember 1992 just after the caf tournament how the black star of Ghana look like before Stephen appiah has rescued it from dying. If care is not taken now at the world cup 2014 there won't be a team and after that still Ghana black won't exists anymore. This is because AA talks too much and all his saying are fool of craps. How can a coach says that my number goalier is this and others are not good meanwhile the one which he claimed to be the best is nothing good to write home about. Kwesi is killing Ghana football slowly. Mark it on the wall. 100 years time to come for dauda can be in post for pirate but he can't even measure himself with adams kwarase. I used to admire Appiah’s humility in the early part of his appointment as the head coach of the Black Stars. But he has been exhibiting signs of arrogance and ignorance in the aftermath of Ghana’s qualification for the world cup. His decision to camp the BS in the U.S. is a bone-headed decision which defies any commonsense. His remarks now also about Dauda betray his lack of wisdom. I am dumbfounded that he couldn’t realize that this remark could demoralize the other players (not only the other competing goalies)? The remark conveys an impression that he selects his players arbitrarily without a consideration of effective performance. I would have no problem if Dauda is eventually chosen after the other competitors have proved less effective. But right now, the other goalies are actively playing whilst Dauda is warming the bench. You have also given the others a chance to prove themselves in the forthcoming friendly matches, So why make such a premature judgment that Dauda is your first choice? This poor judgment further adds to his poor decision to camp in the U.S. Any rational person of good judgment would be very cautious with the Americans when engaged in any competitive endeavor with them. Yes, Ghana has beaten them twice in the world cup, but that is history. I am not sure if Appiah has bothered to track the current form of the American team. A simple visit to youtube can give him a little sense of the formidable form of the current U.S. team. Appiah should not forget that the trashing of the Egyptian team was an extraordinary performance on the part of the Ghana team. He should not be misled and fooled by that one single good performance to think he has got an invincible team to do wonders in the World cup.
