But if they manage to score Hearts, then their fanatical supporters ignorantly assume all is well with provocative chants like 'ye team no aye yie oo'...to wit 'our team is on course.’ Until the fanatics in Kotoko realize the true and fair assessment of that primitive club, they would continue to experience these so-called near misses. It is just 'garbage in garbage out' situation with Kotoko. A word to a wise is enough.

There are sooooo many dubious practices that go into how the league is won and this reflects eventually in abysmally disappointing outing like what kotoko has been dealt with by an unfancied side like a certain BYC. shame on the administrators of Ghana football.

Didi is turning out to be quite disappointing in his duties.He has had enough time,room and opportunity to show us where he intends to take the team and so far he is lacking in vision.He is operating on pure adrenalin which is not nearly enough for Kotoko.We have never thrived as a reactionary club.Vision and Foresight is what what propel us and Didi is not doing well either way.

Referees in Ghana must be fair in all matches in the Ghanaian Premier League so that wealthy champions will be crowned. It is sad that our champion club with that pedigree in African football will be eliminated at the preliminary stage by unknown quantities. It is very sad. Medeama FC could have done much better but for unfair officiating they were denied the league title. Chelsea did well in their last appearance because they won the league clean with quality team without the help of referees. Referees please sit up.

Some of us have been very frank about the deteriorating standard of the Ghanaian football but others are quick to rain insults because they are afraid to face tge facts. The mentality of having to win matches through solicited penalties which started with the Black Stars is begining to have negative effect on the domestic league. Asante Kotoko couldn't score normal goals in regular playing time, but has to resort to prospecting for penalties which could have earned them 3 penalty goals. Where in modern football do you have such a bizzare method of winning matches if not in Ghana. The earlier this negative approach of winning matches via penalties is stopped the better for Ghanaian football.
