Croatia’s NK Lokomotiva in for Prosper Donkor

Croatia top flight side, NK Lokomotiva Zagreb have swooped for promising 19 year old Ghanaian footballer, Prosper Donkor who is expected to fly out of the country to the European country in February to begin the new phase of his professional career.

Donkor, a winger with scoring ability, plays for Black Kings FC, a Division 2 League side in Ghana but caught the attention FC Lokomotiva scouts at a soccer camp - Concept 4 Soccer International in June 2013.

His agent, Dalibor Ban, an International Sport Agent, a Croatian based in Germany broke the six (6) months loan deal (for an undisclosed fee) for Prosper Donkor and if he proves himself will be signed for 3 years. He is expected to join the reserve side next month for training and acclimatization before joining the first team in their pursuit of honours in the Croatian Top League, Prva HNL where they currently lie 4th after 20 games. The league resumes in February.

Sportsinghana.com can also report that the team manager (Coach of NK Lokomotiva), Tomislav Ivkovic is very enthused with the exciting Donkor after watching video clips of the player and expects him to prove himself to remain in the first team to help the team win laurels for the Club.
