If these are not done..forget it.
The other day I watched TEAM USA and I am amazed abt their growth under coach Klinsman.

Whether we have beaten the US before or not, it should not be a secret that the US would like to go through the group stage just like all the other 3 teams in the group. In other words, each team in a group is equally a rival to the other. At the end of the day what will settle the issue is who has the quality players scale through the group. This has always been the case since time immemorial. Wishes alone don't determine who wins a match because all the teams hold good wishes for themselves.
In 2010 for example, even Germany whose qualification we seem to be assuming automatic, at some time had anxious moments when they were beaten by Serbia. Serbia itself was beaten by Ghana while Ghana was beaten by Germany. That was how close it was. 2014 will not be different. It's going to be tight but the two teams that have quality and some luck will sail through.
There is no basis to rule out any team now but I'm sure if we are not done by injury to key players, we assemble the right players and our big men don't do anything to undermine the authority of the coach, there is no way Ghana cannot go far.

You words of encouragement and advice is clear, but there's one aspect that I don't understand: "....our way of going through the Americans is to make long passes and get the ball away from our half of the field and try to play the game on the Americans' half of the field...." and I hope you could explain a little bit.

In modern football, the art of ball possession is very important. We cannot build any powerful attack and an onslaught towards the opponent's goal area without constructive ball movement, rather than resort to long volleys which don't guarantee maintaining ball possession. We cannot afford to lose the ball to the opposing team when we're aiming to score. With a good team, losing the ball most often become deadly. Let's encourage our handlers and our team to focus on having greater possession of the ball. I'm not trying to talk about "agoro" or exhibition kind of football, but constructive kind of play.

We should or must know the science of modern football and work out our way to score. That's the way to go! I hope you understand. In anyway, I'm not trying to be the coach here, by sitting behind the computer; let's all help build up our team with creative suggestion. As Coach Kwasi Appiah has indicated, he's open to constructive ideas and even criticisms, except that he won't bow to any intimidations from any quarters. That's one good thing to note by all.

Let's help our team, knowing that there's only one driver. The only problem here is that the "Aplanke" drivers are too many. Lol!

If the ball is in our half of the field, we don't have a chance to score. We are Aplanke drivers. We yell at the players through our TV , but that's all part of it. The coach is who is in charge. Tony has very aptly replicated my thoughts on any football match between Ghana and the USA. Having been beaten twice in a row by Ghana, the USA will come against us with every legal weapon in their armoury. Ghana can not therefore afford to take it for granted that having been our whipping boys twice in the past they will allow themselves to be whipped a third time. I suppose our coach and players, being professionals, know this and will prepare adequately for this make or break encounter. I'm not doubting my team but warning against any complacency. Let's also go at them with all we have in our own armoury!!!!FORWARD GHANA!!!
