The competition among the Ghana Black Stars goalkeepers was stiff, but I think, it is about to be stiffer. Richard "Olele" Kingston has been monitored and a conclusion is being meditating upon by whether, according to a reliable source, to be included in the next squad or not. I was asked to watch his club's, Doxa, match the weekend and he wasn't bad, though, a bit rusty and also allowed 2 goals in his team's defeat to Ermis in the Cyprus league. The Oldman still has it and so will bring in a tougher competition among the keepers.

This may be surprised to some of you but Kingston has being on the coach's radar for the past months now. The question is, what do you think? Can the old hand help bring our secured goalkeeping department and its confidence back.

We used to have no problem when Olele was Olele. After his two unfortunate back-to-back fumbling followed by his outburst on Ghanaian fans, he wasn't trusted him anymore. Now he is back and the lest we could do is to give him the chance to justify his inclusion.

What do you all think?

Oh less I forget, Afrie Acquah too is doing well. He played full time in his game last weekend. Keep eyes on them for the next invitation.

That is why most of the players plus the coach are not Asantes but plying the trade in the club. There is nothing wrong in being proud of your tribe but don't confuse that with your passion for football. Even the Otumfuo once upon a time supported Hearts of Oak... and I believe you have a few family members who support Hearts or some other club. My father is a staunch Hearts supporter but he is a full blooded Asante. Let us try to win people into our club with nice words instead of repelling them with provocative words. Fabu for life!
