First, it was wrong for Mahama to meddle in Footbal matters.

Secondly, the Ayew brothers should have written a letter to the Blackstars Technical staff making themselves available for selection.

Third and this is my personal view. Whilst Dede might be an automatic selection, Jordan is not a Blackstar material at the moment and the same problem that led to their retirement might happen again because I can't see Coach Appiah dropping any of the Blackstars strikers for Jordan Ayew.

Kwesi Appiah should be a man and put his foot down and not invite Jordan to make Mahama happy. Mahama can appoint Jordan to his cabinet but he cannot force him on Coach Appiah, he is not a Blackstars material.

Dede Ayew refused to report to Black Stars camp because his junior brother Jordan was not invited to the camp. He gave spurious reasons why he could not report for the National assignment,and jointly made statement with Jordan distancing themselves from National assignments.
The intervention of Mahama amounts to the president forcing coach Kwasi Appiah to admit Jordan into the Bla ck stars, which to me is untenable. This amounts to interference in the assignment given to the National team coaches, and should never be entertained. If Dede Ayew feels he and his brother Jordan should be invited to Black stars camp simultaneously else he would not honour the invitation then he must stay away.Kwasi Appiah has no intention to invite Jordan for the sake of his brother Dede Ayew. The Black Star team is not a business enterprise for the Ayew brothers. Players are invited based on performance, period.
In any case, with the present crop of players in Black Stars camp,which position is dede Ayew going to play? He would either play 10 or 11 position. Is he better than Wakaso or Kwadwo Asamoah in those positions? Dede Ayew is a frustrated and indisciplined player, and his presece in the team would only bring division in the Black stars camp.
Do I hear that,. that prince Boateng is also coming back? There will be a big wedge in the Black Stars camp if Dede Ayew and Prince Boateng are invited to the Black Stars. Ghanaians must open our eyes. This Prince Boateng guy always wants to use the Black Stars to relaunch his nose dived football career.That was exactly what he did before the last world Cup, and must not be fooled for the second time.
Dede Ayew and Prince Boateng should not be invited to the Black Stars camp for acts of indiscipline. I don't think Kwasi Appiah would succuumb to this ploy of the so called president's intervention to invite them to play for the Black Stars.
What Kwasi Appiah must take note is the pressure from the presidency and the GFA for him to invite these three players to feature in the game against Zambia at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi. If he succuumed to this pressure and make that mistake, Zambia will beat Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium and qualify in place of Ghana. Kwasi,please don't change your winning team now or ever! Those coming will sabotage your efforts. Tell the president to go and settle his court case, and leave you alone.

I disagree completely with Mr. Owusu-Bempah for using the word "Terrorist." How low can you become when discussing National issues of entertainment. In my opinion, the President did the right thing, by calling upon Andre and Jordan Ayew's brothers and convinced them to play for the country, Ghana.
