  Well he surely wants to play in the neaxt world cup abi? Let him come to camp in September for the Zambia game. He can suit up and play say 10mins, maybe 30mins for the final two games in the next round. He needs to play together with the team for a while so he be cohesive with the others during the WC, period. We respecthim as a senior player and need him during the WC, but we can't just hand him a jersey to go play at the WC. Everyone wants that prestige so let bro E pay the piper, cmon!

  The guy has played soccer at the highest level for a while. I don't think he has much to prove. Thus, it is not 100% true that he is returning because he wants to play in the world cup. Truth is, even when he's not available on the Ghanaian set-up, most commentators still mention his name.
  In football, the best resources are used to win games, not just those who are disciplined or willing to obey the coach (as most Ghanaians want to believe). Don't misinterpret me.

  Well said my friend, I agree he doesn't have much to prove. Remember though that we are talking about team work not individual achievements. My take is, even if he is the lord n saviour of Gha soccer he still has to contribute his quota to the team's qualifications effort. Sans that, he shouldn't make himself available for the world cup should he be called. Anyway, another route will be for him to come out and state categorically that he will not be available for qualifiers but will be available for the world cup after qualification. I think he's earned that much of a clout in Gha soccer, but he should be clear. Then after we can have a proper debate as a nation as to how we are going to deal with his situation, period!
