Not only counseling but he needs to vary his style of play.If you watch him closely he doesn't create chance for his colleagues when he's not in a position to score.Secondly his tackles is poor and doesn't support his defenders when they are under pressure. This is the third club that has rejected him so the problem is himself, ask yourself why is it that Kwasi Appiah cannot start him even when Asamoah Gyan is not performing.

Why do some of our talented players go there? They alway find excuses not to honour contracts. Footbal is now widespread world wide. Stop going there.

Some of you guys think when a player shines in one match he's arrived and is ready for Black Stars. This is what's killing us. Clottey and Baffour were over hyped just as we've been doing since 1991. When I first heard of this Emmanuel Clottey in our local league, I had no clue of any player by name Asamoah Gyan. Clottey played for Swedru All Blacks as their lead striker, joined Accra Great Olympics the following year, then joined the europe bandwagon. After an unsuccessful attemp abroad he came home, had a registration tussle with local clubs and got suspended for a year after which he joined Chelsea. It's really been long since he set off and we think he's now maturing after all these years? The Tunisians wanted to see how good he'll be for their services but he never lived up to expectation. If a coach doesn't invite a particular player to the B/Stars, we pounce on him as if we're experts. Show me a Ghanaian soccer fan and I'll show you a "buga buga" coach.

if fact the al haly coach said he lkes clottey's way of playing but he has seen and work with strikers and he thinks clottey is over hyped.
let me conclude that i appreciate your comments perhaps i have been sharing simimlar sentiments long ago.

He is still listed as a 24 year old so he still has time to mature, hehehehe. Clottey is 24 and I am 25.
Anyway, why did Berekum Chelsea send him to Esperance without even part payment of the transfer fees?

HE HAS HAD FOREIGN EXPERIENCE ASWELL PRIOR TO HIS EXPLOITS FOR BEREKUM CHELSEA IN THE CHAMPS LEAGUE. ESPERANCE ARE NOT HONORING THEIR SIDE OF THE CONTRACT FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH REASONS. AA SHOULD ALLOW CLOTTEY TO START AGAINST TOGO INT EH SEMI FINAL. CLOTTEY IS HUNGRY TO IMPRESS AND WONT WASTE CHANCES LIKE GYAN

i was sad when i heard how hurriedly he was sold to esperance. by their style of play i didn't see clottey making it up there.
why are north african countries so quick to express interest in our strikers?

The owner of Berekum. Chelsea, Alexander Kyeremeh sold him to the highest bidder without taking the Player's interest into consideration which Clottey's Agent also failed to do. Emmanuel Baffour and Clottey have both been released by their new clubs. What does it mean to our local league? Clottey would have been better off at TP Mazembe.

CLOTTEY NEXT TIME GO TO THE RIGHT SCHOOL WITH THE BEST TEACHERS AND NOT THE MONEY. THE MONEY WILL COME LATER. COACHING IN GHANA IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

This guy is in his final stages and he's not going to shine any better than we've already seen. I might sound a bit harsh but it's really been a long time since this guy hit the road. CLOTTEY WAS SAID TO BE THE BEST STRIKER IN GHANA AND AFRICA NOT LONG AGO WHETHER HE WAS THEN IOO YEARS OLD OR NOT. THE ESPERANCE CLUB IS NOT BETTER THAN ANY OF THE CLUBS IN GHANA. IF ALL THEY WANT IS ALREADY MADE STRIKERS THAN THERE IS NONE IN GHANA BECAUSE ALMOST ALL OF THEM ARE OVER 30 YEARS WHEN THEY SHINE. NOW YOU KNOW WHY THERE NO STRIKERS IN GHANA. IT IS ONLY IN EUROPE/OVERSEAS WHERE YOU CAN BE 3O YEARS AND OVER AND STILL A GOOD STRIKERS BECAUSE THEY HAVE GOOD COACHES AND PHYSICAL FITNESS EQUIPMENT. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE NATURAL BORN STRIKERS,DOCTORS,BOXERS ETC. YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO IMPROVE THE TALENT UNDER A QUALITY TEACHER.
