Mali is going to vent today's anger on Congo on Monday. They will hack Congo 2-0, while we bury Niger by 3-0.
In fact we can use our game with Niger to sharpen our boots for the knockout stage. We can play the 4-3-3 formation because I don't see how Niger can make any significant counter-attack that will shake our defence.
Don't tell me there are no "small" teams now.

THIS IS THE SAME SCENARIO WITH THE NUMBER 2, NUMBER 3 NUMBER 7 AND NUMBER 11 SPOTS. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY AA IS HELL BENT ON USING KASA AT THE 3,
AFFUL AT THE 3, ATSU AT THE 11. WAKASO AT THE 3. WAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT AA? EITHER HE IS VERY STUPID AND CONSTIPATED MENTALLY OR HE SIMPLY DOES

ASTU AT THE 7. THIS IS THE SIMPLE SCIENCE, JAMES AA.

The Stallion, I'm sorry to disagree with you in one point but how I see things going, Congo now is realizing its elimination day is near, therefore, will go into the encounter against Mali vigorously. With this mentality getting into the last match, it would be two things at the end of the match for them. It is either they would rush at the beginning of the match and get tired in the middle and so would end up to loose focus, therefore, would get beat by Mali 2-0 as you indicated or would surprise the world by eliminating Mali with a 1-0 win. I see that coming.
We have to be careful though otherwise it would be a case similar to the 2006 AFCON, though with this one we have already qualified, where we sat and were defeated by Zimbabwe at the last match in the group stage. We have to go in will all we have to bury Niger 2-0.
I can't wait to watch Nigeria against Zambia this evening for it will be a firework! This is where we need scouts to note the strategies from both nations in order for us to map ours strategy well to overcome theirs. We may meet any nation who will lead the group "C" nations which contains both Zambia and Nigeria in the semi finals if we sail through quarter finals.
Here is how it is arranged. The 26th and the 27th matches in the tournament are in the quarter-finals. These matches in the quarter finals, that is the winner from Group "B" vs. the 2nd placed from Group "A", is going to meet the winner from the 27th match which consists of the winner between the winner from Group "C" and the 2nd placed from Group "D". This is where the Black Starts will meet either Zambia or Nigeria in the semi-finals. We need to think ahead and begin to take notes from now and map our way through this encounter. With this, there is no spies to disguise anything but scouts to set the ball rolling.
Mali may meet Ivory Coast again for the second time in a role in the semi-finals unless they are surprised by Congo DR in the last group match which will be held in 3 days, on the 28th of January.

oach, Please do not vow to keep on improving whilst this Mail game was the worst of the two games that Ghana had play so far. the game Ghana played with Congo though it ended two all but, Ghana did far better than this Mali Game.
The Congo game Ghana made minor mistakes in the part of both the defenders and the Midfield and that caused the two goals against Ghana.
In the Mail game, Ghana won by luck and not by any strict tactical displayed by the Stars. The Defenders were not solid with a tactical play.
The Mid-field to was lacking cohesiveness play as a team or a well designed tactical play.
The Attackers were not solid either. Coach, you have to put your foot down to bring SERIOUSNESS into the Stars players. They luck proper football discipline which teams like Barcelona Fc has.
The Players have taking you for granted and they are not playing like they PLAYED for all the WHITE COACHES that Ghana had before.
Make them aware that those who do not bring proper discipline to play effective games for Ghana in this Tournament WILL BE DROPPED for the next Championship that Ghana will take part.

For this game, even though, Appiah wasn't on the field playing, I still give that much.
Give the Man of the Match to Kwasi Appiah, the coach. Kwasi Appiah did so well by conducting the team throughout the match. On one occasion, I heard him yelling at the referee. This was when we could have had another penalty. The coach did well and deserves to be praised.
The team as a whole did well. The defenders made sure that the balls toward them didn't get to the opponents. Joye Boye was the player who started that by intercepting the balls during the first half. The only mistake he made was his communication with Fatau wasn't good on one point, which almost caused us a goal.
I hope Boye is okay though because he was playing through injury. Vorsah took over during the second half. JP is not doing bad at all at the right full back and so is Harrison Aful. Defense was good today.
Midfield, ooooooooh Ghana midfield ROCKS like someone always sayimg in here all the time. They all chipped in by knowing when to go in and where to stop and retreat. Rabiu, Agyeman Badu, Kwedwo Asamoah, and Adormah did well, but Wakaso Mubarack was the man in the middle.
Folks, let us face the truth, we couldn't get a single player to play like how the Ayews take the ball to the opponents. We missed that quality at the 3 quarter part of the field. Though this team is playing man to man instead of one man taking the ball to the opponent's defenders, on three or so occasions, that quality could have been put to use. It puts pressure on the opponent defenders. Overall, their passes were almost perfect. Derreck Boateng too came in and gave the team a boost for by covering every space in the midfield.
Asamoah Gyan on the other hand couldn't pull the weight. Too slow and too soft. I know he is soft but it seems he has become extra soft nowadays.
GOOD JOB!!!

Is he really soft like you rightly said at the other page?. Has the 'Saudi dollars' gone into his head so much he lost vim/appetitie for the cedis?
How about the state of his generalship on the field? Is he apathetic or sympathetic?
Did we miss Dede and his sporadic incursions upfront?

Godfather, I'm sorry to shock you but I'm still Under the Rock. It doesn't matter which country I reside, I will always dwell Under the Rock. I'm in Europe at the moment though and will arrive home, NY, on the 4th which is a week and three days left. There is no match on that day, therefore, it is good to travel. I will be watching the semi-final matches in US so we will talk whist the match is going on then.
"In the mean time, could you enlighten us on why the Babyjet is no longer slippery, OOPS! swift on the runway?" The Professor wants to know.
Yes, the Babyjet is no longer slippery as you rightly stated, and I think it is because of the league he is associated with. I don't know how much money he has in his back account to retire in this early age but if he wants to advance in the profession he loves so much, he should leave there as soon as his contract is over. He is still young and can pick up the pieces to be good again in no time. He can start by getting a contract from one of the French clubs in France to build his way up again. For one can see the experience is in him but the strength and the vibe or the enthusiasm to compliment his experience is gone. It is not there anymore. I hope he gets all back because we need him to step up his game. In Niger's match, I think we should try the spectator attacker, Emmanuel Clottey, who is now left. My boy, Richy, is hurt and it is having effect on the striking department.
"Did we miss Dede and his sporadic incursions upfront?" Godfather asked.
No doubt because the way Dede put pressure on Mali last year in the Group stage match, indicated so. It is still in my memory when Dede took the ball and was playing combination with Asamoah Gyan at the right wing last year, we couldn't get any of our players to do that. Not just one occasion but several times in that match Dede took the Malian defense and worked them out! Through is attacking prowess, Mali defense couldn't contained him.
I saw that in this match but in a different way. Since there was no player in our recent squad to risk his million dollars leg by displaying such a technique at the 3/4 part of our offense, we adapted the Spanish style of play or the Barcelona style of play without Messi. In other words, the team was playing man-to-man without a single person taken the ball to the opponent. Agyeman Badu tried it but the dribbling ability was there like it was for Dede last year. Kwedwo Asamoah didn't try that at all because may be the coach has instructed them to play with each other when it gets to that part of the field. Wakaso was the one who could have played that since he was supposed to be the offensive midfield in the match. However, he did but rather concentrated on rushing on Keita every time the opponent gets that ball. It may be a strategy Coach Appiah mapped for them to follow, since the one who can do that effectively wasn't among. Therefore, yes, the team missed that quality up-front but the coach's strategy for the team covered that in a sense that we, the fans love players who can dazzle or maneuver through defenders and still come out with good result. The coach, on the other hand, focuses on only the result. Thus, the coach maps for results at the end and I will not be surprise if that was MRAA's map to play Man-to-Man to win.
"Could you beam on Solo Asante?" Godfather wants to know.
Solomon Asante is a light weight player, but very quick. To me, he will use this tournament to gain experience like Jordan did last year, and will come out great the next tournament. For the next match, though, I will love to see him start instead of Adormah for us to see how he can perform. He may surprise us with his quickness.
Like Appiah did by helping Adormah after 60th or so minutes to bring in Solomon, to me, it is the way it should go in tough matches. Adormah is faster and stronger that Solomon Asante, so for Solomon to be the stand-by player for Adormah is good.
"How about KwaraState and Dauda compared?" Sarsko's most difficult question.
I think Adam should be given the opportunity in the next match; even though, Dauda has taken Adam's position as the number keeper. High ball situations were what gave Adam problems which it is obvious Duada has been handling them easily. On the contrary, when you look at the first goal against us by Congo DR, Kwarresay could have done better than what Duada did in a sense that Kwarrasey stretches and anticipate on ground balls better than he does of high balls. Let me as you, how many dangerous ground balls Adam has saved the team from? Look back during the 2012 ACFON matches and the qualification matches. He is good when it comes to me-and-you situations. To me, I think he should be given the chance to keep the poles in this coming match against Niger. This will help him to continue working on his confidence and will benefit us to have two good goalkeepers.
I hope I answered all your questions. I will be back to hear yours.

Good footballers are consistent in their delivery. Black star always fail to start again means losers. Ghana Black Stars need to be consistent as a serious team. Am afraid they can lose easily their next game with Niger because they are now enjoying the Wakaso penalty goal. What else could have been their position? In fact Black star played like a real but good second division team in Europe. The Brazilians are CONSISTANT. They are too nice people, can lose concentration in seconds and they give up early then they start to fight at the last minute whiles they have become losers already made. They win today and forget tomorrow. Isn’t that a sickness in Ghana Black Star Team. Nkwasiasem maa kwa. LET'S ENCOURAGE THE STARS TO SHINE TO THE TOP BECAUSE AT THIS MOMENT, THE AYEWS CANNOT BE INVITED. ARE YOU A FOOL TO COMPREHEND THAT THE AYEWS CANNOT BE INVITED TO THE STARS CAMP AT THIS TIME?
FORGET THE AYEWS, ARE WE NOT WINNING WITHOUT THEM? EVEN IF THEY PLAYED WE WOULD HAVE PROBABLY LOST WITH ALL THEIR STYLISH NONSENSE AND INDISCIPLINE. DEDE AYEW PLAYED FOR GHANA AGAINST MALI FOR 3RD PLACE LAST YEAR IN GABON, AN ...

Coach Kwesi Appiah seems not to like Kwadwo Asamoah in the midfield.Well,I want to hear the coach's comment on the Juventus midfielder. The coach must have confidence in Kwadwo Asamoah becuse he can create goals.Thank you.
SHAME MR, TRUELY IS ABOUT TIME BROTHER
dauda moved the opposite direction on a forty yard free kick...that is disqualifierr...gyan is the weakest member of the squad so far..remove him as he captain..the other player will not respect a low performer as a captain

He can not read the game. he is clueless always sitting there as if he is crying. we miss the Ayews because the midfield is broken
KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO FORGET ABOUT NYANTAKYI
Appiah will soon come back home with empty hands. As usual he is continuing with his "trial and error" method of coaching.
