I think our coach and technical teeam must refuse these word "favouritism" and do like all others, so that it does not mount presure on our players, every year, we are considered favourites and that puts presure on out boys, we butter eat the humble paie, so that our players can feel relaxed to deliver. These coaches say we are favourites and end up making life difficult for us. Let us begin to tell them that they are also the favourite, and in fact any team present in the tournament is a favourite. Stop accepting these psychological presure and torture on our team!

Once upon a time, a fox came across a bird resting on a tree with a piece of food in her mouth. The fox wanted the food so he devised a trick.
He started raining praises on the bird adoring her beauty to the skies. After several praises, the Fox said, “What a beautiful Bird. If only she can sing, then her beauty will be absolutely complete”. Of course what can a bird do better than sing, so she decided to sing to “impress” the fox. But as soon as she opened her mouth to sing, the food in her mouth dropped. That was all the fox was looking for so he picked the piece of food and ran away from the tree and from the bird. He never wasted his time to listen to the song that the bird started singing.
Let the Stars get it clear that to win AFCON 2013, is not going to be easy because just as the Stars are clearly in top shape, others are also in top shape. Zambia will never surrender this cup without a fierce fight. They are definitely in better form than last year when they won it. Their preparations this year are just like how they prepared for last year’s competition. They never got good results in their friendly matches prior to the completion just as they are doing this year. The reason is that, their coach is so clever and he knows when to get the team at its peak.
Similarly for DR Congo, whom we are playing in the first match on Sunday, they are in their best form and the Stars need to be cautious. DR Congo was not doing well not because they did not have good players but simply because their quality players in Europe refused to come and join the team. Under Claude Le Roy, this has changed. They now have almost alltheir top stars in camp and the Sunday match with them is not going to be easy.
The two coaches (of Zambia and DR Congo) are so confident about their teams and they are teasing Ghana and Ivory Coast.
All that the Black Stars need to avoid being surprised is to be ready for an uncompromising competition from each team they meet. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
