Kotoko Accra Rep Drag Ghalca Boss To Court.

The Accra representative of Kumasi Asanti Kotoko Mr. Kwame Amoa-Bosompem has indicated that he has instructed his lawyers to initiate moves towards dragging the chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association,GHALCA Mr. J.Y Appiah to court for what he described as comments to tarnish his image. Also to be served sermons to appear before court is the GhanaianTimes for reproducing the GHANAWEB report.

In an exclusive interview with me Mr. Bosompem stated that his Boss at the Bank drew his attention to the story, adding that the story goes a long way to affect his reputation as a Banker. He therefore took the matter seriously and accordingly asked his lawyers to take immidiate action to salvage his image before things get worse.

The Accra representative fumed that he can quit soccer today but will continue to work as a banker and therefore will not allow anybody to soil his name because of soccer. He questioned why Mr.J.Y Appiah w! ill discribe him as dishonest on AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS programme in Kumasi. Asked what he will require of the his lawyers should he succeed to meet in the court of law with the Ghalca Boss and the Ghanaian Times, Mr.Amoa-Bosompem said he shall simply be seeking a retractionof the story and an apology to that effect. When AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS reached Mr.J.Y Appiah to find out wheather he had heard Mr.Amoa-Bosompem's threats he quickly responded in the negative but added that he was ready to meet him in any court of law in the world anytime. He insisted on calling Mr.Amoa-Bosompem a dishonest person.

Mr.Appiah asked what other word he could use for Mr. Bosompem if after being part of a GHALGA meeting where all the members took a decision only for him to go back on Radio to say he objected to the decision that was collectively taken by all present at the meeting. Mr. Appiah siad the law courts are there for everybody and was therefore prepared to respect any ! court in the country where the isues will be taken to.
