Juventus prefer Kuffour over Bayern pal Kovac

Juventus are not interested in Bayern Munich defender Robert Kovac, but teammate Samuel Kuffour, it has emerged.

Both players are off contract in June and Kovac's agent revealed over the weekend that Juve had made an offer for next season.

But those close to Juve chief Luciano Moggi say he isn't interested in Kovac, but is keen to lure Kuffour back to Turin.

The Ghana international has an Italian agent and while he has spoken openly of an ambition to join Arsenal, Moggi is convinced he could be tempted to Juve.
