Ministry sends goodwill message to Jantuah

Accra, Jan 27, GNA - Mr Joe Aggrey, acting Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Education and Sports on behalf of his ministry has sent a goodwill message to Ghana's Kofi Jantuah on behalf of the Government and Ministry as he takes on Kasim Ouma of Uganda for the IBF Light Middleweight crown.

The Ugandan holds the crown and fight is scheduled for Saturday, January 28 at Atlantic City, New Jersey in the United States of America. The statement copied to the GNA Sports assured the boxer that the whole country is solidly behind him as he mounts the ring to challenge the champion for his title.

"I hope the preparations you have made in preparations for this fight will enable you win and restore Ghana's name unto the boxing world map".

Mr Aggrey said he is therefore wishing Jantuah the best of luck in his quest to wrestle the crowm.
