Experienced Ghanaian boxer, Ben ‘Congo Soldier’ Ankrah (17-20, 8 KO’s) has vowed to tame his compatriot George ‘Red Tiger’ Ashie (26-4-1, 19 KO’s).

Ankrah-Ashie will slug it out in a super lightweight contest on the undercard of Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko and Kenya’s Nick Otieno IBF international super bantamweight battle on June 30th at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

“I’m in boxing before George Ashie came and if you have watched my fight before, you will see i have more experience in boxing than him and i have fought tougher opposition than him so i’m not afraid,” the 37 year-old boxer intimated. “I will surely defeat him but i will not promise a knock out because i see knock out as lucky a blow so i have prepared enough to face him for the whole round.” The upcoming card is put together by Fresh King Entertainment and it has been dubbed as ‘Legacy Fight Night.’
