Olympics beat Kade Breakers 3-1

Kade (E/R), Nov. 21, GNA - Kade Breakers last Sunday played a good game but lost to premier side, Accra Great Olympics by 3 goals to one in a friendly match played at Kade.

Olympics nearly found the net as early as the 20th minute of the first half but the shot missed target narrowly.

The Accra team however found the net in the 22nd minute through Victor Ogoe who connected a neat pass from Amui Quaye.

Iron Breakers fought hard, but with the tight defence of Olympics and the good form of keeper Atsu, former Kwaebibirem Stars keeper, all their efforts proved futile.

Amui Quaye who was the man of the match gave another neat pass to Awudu Ibrahim, who made no mistake and scored the second goal for Olympics in the 33rd minute.

Olympics 3rd goal came in the 70th minute through Amui Quaye, whilst Iron Breakers scored their only goal of the match through Moses Narh about 10 minutes to full time.

In the 2 curtain raiser matches, Iron Breakers under 12 team beat Akwatia Young Diamond Stars U 12 by 1-0 whilst Iron Breakers under 14 also beat Akwatia Young Diamong Stars U 14 by the same margin.

The Executives of Kade Iron Breakers made up of Mr Emmanuel Yeboah, the Director of the team, Hon. Ofosu Asamoah Member of Parliament for Kade who is the chairman of the club and Mr Kwame Boakye, Danquah vice chairman appealed for the support of the public to enable the team to become one of the big teams in the country.

According to the executives, their next matches are going to be between Accra Hearts of Oak, Power F/C and other top teams in the country.
