Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia are set to miss the services of industrious defender Rashid Sumaila as some unnamed Belgian clubs have expressed interest in securing the signature of the Ghanaian, the player’s agent has confirmed.

According to the Portuguese agent, Joa Pedro Pinto, two Belgian clubs have requested for the player following his stupendous performance for the Kuwait champions in the just ended season.

“I can confirm that we have offers from two clubs in Belgium and we are looking at the best one for the player.

“I can’t mention the club to you now because we are still negotiating. I will tell u when we finish,” Pedro Pinto told GHANAsoccernet.com

Sumaila, 23, had a successful season in Kuwait, winning the Kuwait Premier League as well as guiding the junior side to the Youth Championship.

He also emerged the best foreign player in the country as well as the best defender in the Al Qadsia side.
