Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has assured high-rising Ghanaian youngster Hiram Boateng of more playing time at the club next season.
Boateng, 20, made his debut for the Eagles last weekend when he came off the bench in the 72nd-minute mark to replace French midfielder Yohan Cabaye at the Liberty Stadium in a 1-1 stalemate with Swansea City.
Palace have not seen lots of their academy graduates succeed at the club, but Boateng has given hope of a great come through from the breeder team, and Pardew has assured him of more playing time next term.
AP: H [Boateng] could be a big player for us next season. We'll be focussing in the summer on the academy.
