The former national table tennis champion, Derek Abrefa has told sportscrusader.com about how confident he is going into the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic qualifiers schedule from 16th – 18th February 2016 in Khartoum, Sudan.

Derek lost his title as 2015 national champion lost to Felix Lartey in 2016 and the number 8th ranked tennis player in Africa looks to be in good shape in training as he showed some dazzling, energetic pace and skills in his play.

Speaking to sportscrusader.com Abrefa said, ” I assure all Ghanaians about I’m certain of qualification to the Olympic games in Brazil because of how the training rudiments I’m going through”.

The 23-year-old added” my coach has added something new to my game, which has made me poised and confident for the upcoming qualifiers and the Olympic game is a dream for every athlete”.
