Asante Kotoko in talks with Turkish firm Lescon

Asante Kotoko and reputable Turkish company Lescon have reached a contractual agreement for a total kit sponsorship package for next season.

According a publication on the club’s website, the Porcupine Warriors’ package will include playing jerseys, training kits, campers and traveling kits in the 2015/16 season.

Lescon is a Turkish clothing, footwear, sportswear, and equipment supplier and they are based in Beyolu, stanbul.

They are a major manufacturer of sports equipment with more than 30 clubs under their belt in the European country.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pacific Football Ghana Limited, Eric Oppong-Yeboah who has been working closely with Kotoko managers on this deal and the Kotoko-Petrolul friendly international game, told Asantekotokosc.com that, a kit sponsorship deal for Kotoko was high on the cards.

Eric Oppong-Yeboah, who was in Turkey last week for discussions on behalf of Kotoko’s management, revealed that, negotiations were far advanced.

He said Ahmet Arslan who facilitated discussions between him and Lescon would be in Ghana next week.

“These are important developments. We have been working on these things for a while on now. There are many details that must be on the quiet at the moment,” he said.

“What I can tell you is that, we have had comprehensive discussions on a package and soon, we will put out the fine details.”
