All Stars count on home invincibility

Wa All Stars coach Jimmy Cobblah is counting on home form to aid a targeted top-four finish at season end..

Currently at sixth position on the log, All Stars have only dropped seven points (nine wins, two draws, one defeat) in 12 home games so far, contributing to 29 of the total 35 points the Wa-based club has amassed in the First Capital Plus Premier League so far.

And coach Cobblah whose side hosts in-form New Edubiase United on match day 25 this weekend is confident winning all three remaining home games for the season will go a long way to boost their Top 4 placing.

"Every team is strong at home and if you want to do well in this league you have to win your home games,” Cobblah said.

"We have not given ourselves a target to finish anywhere or above anybody but we have to ensure that we are in the top four which we are confident that our home record will favour us.”

After Sunday's clash with Edubase, All Stars' remaining home games will be against Liberty Professionals (on match day 27) and Medeama SC in their penultimate game of the season.
