Ghana U20 defender Patrick Asmah is excited following their 3-2 win over Argentina in Group B's second match day at the Fifa U20 World Cup on Tuesday.

The Black Satellites rolled out an enthralling performance to outwit the young Albicelestes, maintaining a 3-0 lead by the 69th minute.

However, the South Americans rallied back in the dying moments of the game to reduce the deficit by scoring two goals.

Asmah wants the team to build on the success against the South Americans in their subsequent matches.

“We are really happy with the win and personally I’m excited with the outcome of the match,” he told Goal.

“The game was an improvement from the first match we played against Austria. Everybody played well and I’m not really surprised we won.

“What we now have to do is to quickly forget about this victory and focus on our last group game against Panama.

“I know we can build on this victory going forward and the sky will be our limit,” he said.

Ghana now top the group but on tie with Austria on four points.

The Satellites will face Panama on Friday at the North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.
