Ref Agbovi 'gifted' Edubiase equalizer - Duncan

David Duncan claims referee William Agbovi ‘gifted’ New Edubiase the equalizer which ensured the two teams shared the spoils in Sunday’s Premier League game.

The Porcupine Warriors failed to hold onto their 2-1 lead and allowed the home side to pull parity through Haminu Dramani.

Coach Duncan was left disappointed with the outcome and feels the referee played a role in their stalemate.

“Edubiase played very well, coming up against Kotoko you shouldn’t expect that a team would under-perform. Any team playing against Kotoko plays above themselves and Edubiase was no different,” Duncan said.

“You are the judges of the performance of referees and perhaps even coaches and the performance of players. Perhaps players, so do it.”

It is not my duty to judge them, but I thought that he (referee) gifted, to a very large extent he gifted Edubiase their equaliser which is their second goal.”
