Hearts deserve the win over Aduana - Herbert Addo

Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has said the Phobians deserved the three points secured against Aduana Stars in midweek.

According to Addo, the game would have been easier if all his key players were available for selection.

“We played a very good game and deserve to win,” the former Inter Allies boss said after a hard fought 3-2 win over Aduana Stars. “Of course, I hope the winning streak will continue.”

Hearts were without key players Shaun October and Selasie Adjei. Addo believes their presence would have made the game easier for them.

“Well, I think there are some players who were not able to play this week because of cautions, and in a team, one or two players make a difference and these two players (Adjei and October) make the difference.

“If they were in today, it would have been easier game. They were not in and somebody else had to play. We go to AS Police, they will be there. So I hope that we raise our game and do the do there.”

Hearts of Oak move out of the relegation zone to the 12 spot on the First Capital Plus Bank premier league log after the win.
