Coach Kwasi Appiah guides Khartoum to clinch first Sudanese PL win

Ex-Black Stars Coach Kwasi Appiah won his debut Sudanese Premier League match in charge of Khartoum Al Wataani on Monday as the military owned club secured a 2-0 home victory over Al Meghani.

Galag and Moaaz scored to hand Appiah’s side maximum points. The victory sends Khartoum Wataani to the top of the league standings followed by Alamal Atbara and Al Hilal Kadougli.

The former Ghana captain must now prepare his lads for the next league clash against Al Ahli Wad Medani away from home on Saturday.

Prior to the start of the new season, Appiah supervised Khartoum Wataani to clinch 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in 5 friendlies during their camping in Egypt.
