Kotoko confirms withdrawal from Oil City Cup

Asante Kotoko has confirmed its withdrawal from the Oil City Cup after the event organizers decided to reschedule the pre-season competition, SportsCrusader.com can confirm.

The Porcupine Warriors resolved to pull out of the tournament because the yet-to-be revealed new date will disrupt the club’s schedule.

Kotoko was expected to open its campaign in the four-club competition against Hasaacas on Friday.
