Medeama arrange Hasaacas friendly after Oil Cup fiasco

Medeama will take on regional rivals Hasaacas in a routine friendly on Sunday following the cancellation of the Oil Cup tournament.

The Mauve and Yellows have quickly arranged the friendly in the wake of the sudden cancellation of the hugely- publicized mini tournament.

Organisers have cited lack of financial support for the decision to pull plugs on the tournament which was meant to celebrate Ghana’s oil find.

The Tarkwa-based side will play the Giants of the West in a friendly at the Essipong stadium in Sekondi as they continue their build up to the start of the Ghana Premier League season which has been delayed by a court action.
