Brimah keeps second straight clean sheet to help Mirandes to away win

Razak Brimah kept his second consecutive clean sheet to help CD Mirandes steer further off relegation with a priceless 1-0 win at Recreativo Huelva on Sunday.

Juanjo’s 88th-minute strike won the game for Carlos Terraza’s side with the Ghana goalkeeper also doing the business at the other end of the pitch at the Estadio Nuevo Colombino.

Brimah kept a clean sheet in last week’s win over Leganes and replicated a similar performance on Sunday to see Mirandes open a three-point gap from the drop zone.

He was mobbed by the Mirandes bench after the game having pulled off some incredible saves to ensure his side came away with maximum points.

Mirandes are now 14th in the 22-team league of the Spanish second tier.
