Injured Ghana Skipper Asamoah Gyan will start playing football for Al-Ain this week.

This pleasant news follows the striker’s full recovery from the injury which kept him inactive for a few weeks.

The Black Stars Captain gave the good news after Ghana thumped neighbours Togo 3-1 in their final AFCON 2015 qualifier.

Gyan missed the important game, played at the Tamale stadium last week, because of the pesky injury.

“I will start playing for Al-Ain next week,” Gyan happily told reporters.

He added, “My recovery process is going on as planned and definitely I will start playing next week.”

Gyan disclosed that it was his wish to play for Ghana against Togo, but the risk was high so upon the advice of team doctors, he backed down.
