Opoku Nti weeps over cash

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will not be financially ready to compete in Africa if the Champions League should start today.

This was disclosed by Kotoko’s Managing Director, Opoku Nti, in a recorded tape played on Angel FM.

The Kotoko chief openly lamented over how the Porcupine Warriors were suffering in terms of finances, lately.

Opoku Nti, without mincing words, attributed Kotoko’s cash-strapped situation to the delay in the start of the league.

He said the league was the basic means by which officials in the premiership get money to manage the clubs.

He noted with sadness that the delay in the league start was creating discomfort for all the clubs.
