Muntari: Torres deserves a goal against Inter

Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has described Spanish forward Fernando Torres as a superb striker, and deserves to score against Inter in the crunch derby Sunday at the San Siro.

The on-loan Chelsea player has just scored once for the Rossoneri but the Ghanaian believes he will make the grade in the Milan derby this weekend.

“El Nino deserves a goal against Inter on Sunday because he is important and he is a great striker. If he scores against Inter we will be happy,” the Ghana international told Milan Channel.

“The derby means so much to us, for the ranking and also for the confidence in ourselves. We have to give everything for our fans. It will be a very important challenge. We will do everything to win the game. This game is unique and special, it is deeply felt,” Muntari added.

Muntari will be pivotal in midfield as Inzaghi hopes to win his first derby as a manager.
