Schlupp says next two games are crucial for Leicester City to avoid relegation

Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp feels Leicester City‘s next two games are looming as crucial if they are to avoid the relegation dogfight close to the end of the season.

Leicester ‘s games against fellow strugglers Sunderland and QPR have now taken on added importance.

“Every game is big but, with the run of results not going our way, those games are massive now,” Schlupp told the Leicester Mercury.

“It is important we get something from those games and we will be doing everything we can to do that.

“We are not happy with the way things have been going, but we believe we can turn things around.

“We knew how hard the league was going to be this year and we might have limited chances, so we need to start putting them away.

“We are a tight bunch with the lads and the staff together. There is no doubt we will stick together and work even harder on the training pitch to improve the results.”
