GTF national ranking championship ongoing

The Ghana Tennis Federation National Ranking Championship for the last quarter of the year has gotten to the quarter finals after the opening matches took place on Monday, 3rd November at the tennis court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The National Ranking, which is a mandated championship by the Umbrella body, the International Tennis Federation, is aimed at ranking the best players in the country based on their latest performances.

In all, over 64 tennis players registered out of which 8 are currently playing in the quarter finals at the tennis court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana’s Top seed, Jeff Bagerbaseh will take on Isaac Tetreku, whiles Ghana’s number 2, George Darko, will engage Daniel Quartey in the other quarter final game.

Benjamin Fumi and Wisdom Agyerago will lock horns, whiles Pascal Zyad is expected to brush aside Benjamin Palm to make it to the semis on Friday.
