Konadu expresses his sympathy for accident victims

Assistant Coach of the Black Stars has expressed his sympathy for the fans who were involved in a gory accident ahead of the Ghana- Guinea game in Tamale.

Isahaku Batiga and Micheal Karimari, sustained various degrees of injuries while Mr. Amo Mensah, an accountant at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium lost his life, few minutes after arriving at the hospital when they got involved in the accident that occurred near the White Volta ahead of the Black Stars’ game.

But Speaking after the game, Maxwell Konadu wished the victims, on behalf of the playing body and the technical team, a heartfelt condolence.

“We want to use this opportunity to wish the families of those who were traveling to Tamale for the game our deepest sympathy, it’s all because of the love of the game, we never knew such a thing will happen. They should take heart and may the Lord be with them and we are also with them in prayers”, Maxwell said.
