Mutari’s cracker aids Milan to beat Verona

AC Milan’s Sulley Muntari scored the opening goal during the Serie A match between them and AC Chievo Verona at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday, October 4.

Muntari, who is currently serving an indefinite suspension with the Black Stars, delivered a powerful non-drop from the edge of the box in the 55th minute to put his side ahead in the game.

The powerful left-footer delivered a thunderbolt that went over the defence of the opponent and dropped into the net – a goal typical of the Ghanaian midfielder.

In a jubilant mood, the Ghanaian knelt and placed his forehead on the ground, signifying praises to God and was mobbed by his colleagues.

Muntari, aided his side to win the game by 2-0 with the second goal coming from Keisuke Honda in the 77th minute.

The midfielder has been in a perfect shape since last season and has been regular for the Italian giants.

Muntari, is expected to play a key role for the Milan side as they seek to end the season on a good note by winning the league.
