Consider coach Burkard Ziese - Odehyenana

Odehyenana Kofi Tabi, a sports enthusiasts in Kumasi, has suggested to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to consider the former Black Stars German coach Burkard Zieze as the new coach for the team.

He said after a careful observation of the state of affairs of Ghana football today, both local and international, the GFA should not hesitate to appoint the former coach to handle the team.

Speaking to the GNA Sports in Kumasi on Thursday on sports development and seeking a competent coach for the national soccer team, Odehyenana Tabi said when Burkard was the coach for the Stars, he excelled in his job.

"He actually won the hearts of the players, sports enthusiasts and all Ghanaians", he said.

He stressed that most soccer fans found the German coach to be a strategist and soccer analyst who read every game well and adopted strategies to win matches.

Odehyenana Tabi said the coach was also a "talent builder" and he really demonstrated it by training most of the players in the team to improve on their skills to stand the challenges of international matches, particularly against Nigeria.

"He was a man who really built strong relations among the players and their clubs both home and away and as such if he was brought back, he can rebuild the team.
